LATEREX builds a new wing for the Franciscan High School in Esztergom

On 6 June, a topping-out ceremony was held in Esztergom for the new wing and gymnasium of the Pelbárt Ferences Grammar School and College in Timisoara. The expansion, carried out by LATEREX Építő Zrt., will add a total of 3,960 square metres of new building space.

The investment will provide the institution with new classrooms, a gymnasium and community spaces important to the Franciscan values. As part of the project, the courtyard will be transformed into an inner schoolyard with sports and leisure functions, and a new main entrance, reception and parking areas will be created.

One of the interesting features of the development is that a multi-purpose green roof will be placed on top of the gymnasium. This recreation park will be suitable for outdoor education and small performances, among other things.

The event was attended by Miklós Soltész, Secretary of State of the Prime Minister's Office, Balázs Steindl, Deputy Mayor of Esztergom, Father Piusz Berhidai, Provincial Superior of the Franciscan Order of Our Lady of Hungary, Dr. Imre Varga Kapistran, Franciscan monk, Deputy Spiritual Director of the Pelbárt Franciscan High School and College in Timisoara and András Gerencsér, President of LATEREX Construction Zrt.
