What is being built?
This is how the construction of the new Penny Market is progressing in the town near Lake Balaton
At the end of February, we already wrote about the construction of Polgárdi's new discount store. At that time, the investment came to our attention in connection with the Hungarian-developed PureBOX® drainage system, developed in Hungary, would be used in it – for the first time in Hungary – for rainwater management. In line with the principles of sustainability and the circular economy, the high-efficiency PureBOX, developed by Pureco has been developed over two years to help mitigate the environmental impact of heavy rainfall (further details on the drainage system can be found in our previous article).
You can see the change day by day
In this article, we also reported that the construction will take place in the area next to the Reformed cemetery, along Main Road 7, and that the construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of the year. This is confirmed by the March article in Polgárdi Hírek report , which states that the change is visible day by day, not only in the building but also in its surroundings (more photos from this month can be found in the report).
This is not contradicted by our experience: the difference between the March and February photos is clearly visible. As the Polgárdi Hírek reports, the contractors have already finished the slab works and are working on the roof structure of the building.
For the project, 938 PureBOX® with a tank capacity of 94%, 60x60x60 cm, 216 litres, were manufactured and supplied by Pureco.
