Important roads widened and renovated in the western border city

They celebrated the renovation of three roads in the town, funded by the EU, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and barrel rolling. In the town on the Austrian-Hungarian border, the Várbalogi road was widened to six metres over a length of 456 metres as part of the STRABAG project. During the works, approximately 900 metres of new road shoulders were constructed. The entire surface of the road was resurfaced with a new layer of asphalt.

The renovation of the Nándor-Óvoda-Legelő streets was also carried out by STRABAG. A total of 752 metres of roads were widened from four metres to six metres in some places. New kerbs have been built over a length of almost one and a half kilometres and a one-metre wide kerb has been installed. The rehabilitation also included the replacement of the road structure in some sections and the laying of a new layer of asphalt on the border town's roads.
