Modular construction allows for further expansion

The two buildings will be constructed in modules, with the possibility of further expansion in the future. The project will be carried out on 870 square metres of land. The new buildings will have a useful floor area of around 670 square metres. The construction will include utility connections and paving. The new buildings will be covered with standing seam metal sheeting on the roofs of around 575 m2 and on the facades of around 315 m2.

The work will involve draining the area

The project site is located directly on the banks of the Mosoni-Danube, so the contractor will have to dewater the site before the foundations, civil engineering and utility connections are made. The municipality has modified the zoning plan, and the road at the sports centre will be shifted, so that the area of the club can be extended.

A gym and training room will be added in the new building

The new buildings will enable the professional storage of the boats - rowing boats, kayaks - of the association, which has been operating for more than thirty years.

A large gym is planned to be built on top of the storage facility to allow athletes to train.

The project will also include wet blocks, changing rooms and a training room. The works will be carried out in such a way that training sessions can be held without disruption. More than 200 children currently play sport in the club's five sections.
