Two layers of asphalt are laid after stabilising the soil

According to the article, the works will involve the complete demolition of the track structure and the removal of the paved surfaces. The soil will then be stabilised by on-site treatment to a total depth of 40 cm and finally two layers of asphalt will be laid.

The project will also include the replacement of tape barriers and KRESZ signs, as well as the installation of new traffic engineering equipment. The contractor is scheduled to move to the site on 21 August and the works will continue until the end of the year.

A complete road closure will be necessary on one section

During the asphalt milling between 21 and 26 August, through traffic will be subject to road congestion and minor traffic restrictions.

After that, a half-lane restriction and traffic lights will be in place between the access road to Nagyfa and the link road 4454 to Batida. However, a complete road closure will be introduced between the 4454 and the M43 motorway flyover. During this period, the contractor will ensure that the regular bus services on the modified route can be accessed as scheduled.
