The long-established capital city sports club renovates its centre court

The centre court at the BVSC-Zugló sports complex on Szőnyi Road is being renovated. According to the information notice published in the Electronic Public Procurement System, the investment of the long-established capital city sports club will be carried out by Strabag Sports Facilities Kft..

According to the public procurement data, the 239 million HUF net project will include improvements to the irrigation system and green areas outside the pitch, in addition to the centre court.

The centre court of the club, founded in 1911, will also see the renovation of the grass pitch and the bench. At the same time, the irrigation system will also include the reconstruction of the control system, solenoid valves, sprinkler heads, manholes, pipes and lines.

Throughout its history, the association, which has 16 different divisions, has played a prominent role in the history of Hungarian sport: it has produced numerous Olympic and world champions in swimming, water polo, wrestling, boxing, table tennis, karate and chess.
