The development of schools in small villages continues: four primary schools in Hajdú-Bihar will now be targeted

The primary schools in Álmosd, Nyíradony, Bagamér and Nyírmártonfalva, which are maintained by the Debrecen School District Centre, will be renovated with more than 600 million forints won in a tender, the school district announced. The news came after a similar announcement yesterday – 900 million forints in funding for three schools – from the Szekszárd school district.

The Debrecen centre said in a statement today that the building of the Almosd Bocskai István Elementary School will be built with 105 million HUF of non-refundable EU funding awarded under the Operational Programme for Spatial and Urban Development (TOP) Plus. The project includes the renewal of the classroom tiles and doors, the paving of the courtyard and the construction of a new playground in the courtyard. A room for children with special educational needs will be created to ensure inclusive education for them," they said.

The renovation of the buildings of the Arany János primary school in Nyíradony has been awarded a non-reimbursable EU grant of HUF 299 million under the TOP Plusz call for proposals. The project will renew the doors of the classrooms, the gymnasium and the external thermal insulation of the buildings, as well as install new yard games. In addition, a room for inclusive education for pupils with special needs will be created in Nyíradony and Bagamér.

The bagaméri primary school maintained by the Debrecen School District Centre will have its sports hall, gymnasium and classroom pavements renovated with 105 million HUF of grant funding, the school district said. The school also won 105 million forints in non-refundable EU funding to renovate the buildings of the Nyírmártonfalva primary school.
