New crèche opens in Erdőkertes

The construction of the Mesekertes Nursery will allow the accommodation of 52 children thanks to the work of Trend Építő Zrt..

The local government of Erdőkertes has created a new healthcare and child welfare institution, as well as 15 new jobs, partly with EU funding. The nursery was built by Trend Építő Zrt. according to the public procurement data. Of the budget allocated to the project, 513.33 million forints came from EU funds and 138.59 million forints from state funds.

The official opening of the institution will take place on Thursday, 8 May at 16:00, according to a press release from the municipality.

There will also be two playgrounds

An accessible crèche with 52 places, 4 classrooms and 630 m2 of floor space was built on the site between Main Road and Mária Street.

Two playgrounds have been created, with terraces, pram and bicycle storage, and 11 parking spaces, 1 of which is barrier-free. The building has a hot kitchen for catering, an office for staff, changing rooms and a separate kitchenette with a dining area.

In line with energy efficiency targets, the cooling and heating of the institution is provided by a heat pump air exchange system, and the garden is planted with native tree species.
