Four-lane road section opened in the Debrecen agglomeration

József Pántya underlined in his speech:

33.5 thousand cubic metres of earth were moved, 6400 cubic metres of concrete and 7200 cubic metres of asphalt binder course were built. The development also included the installation of dynamic street lighting to save energy.

Further developments will increase Debrecen's logistics capacity

He added: the reconstructed section of Highway 33 carries significant road traffic, so the capacity expansion will allow traffic to be distributed and ensure fast, safe access to the north-western economic zone of Debrecen, which is currently under construction and will also house the BMW car plant.

The planned further developments of main road 33 will also help improve the accessibility of the economic zone, said the deputy state secretary, highlighting the busy intersection of Csigekert Street – Szabó Lőrinc Street – Füredi Road – Balmazújvárosi Road busy intersection reconstruction.
