The Kalocsa-Paks Danube bridge project has also won the recognition of the international press

The construction project of the Kalocsa-Paks Danube bridge has also attracted the interest of the international profession. The print magazine of the international trade magazine Bridge featured on its front page a photo of Magyar Építők from an earlier construction phase of the bridge. The London-based trade magazine also devoted a lengthy article to the development of the Duna Aszfalt Zrt., which is currently under construction: the magazine features three pages on the project as one of the stations on its Central European tour.

According to the article in the magazine, the construction of the 20th Danube bridge in Hungary reached a major milestone in January 2024, with the bridge's construction reaching its completion several weeks ahead of schedule. The article also details the major challenges of the project, explaining, among other things, that the bridge's construction consisted of 89 segments, each of which involved more than 150 work steps.

As previously reported, the Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium project has already passed the barrel-rolling stage, and we understand that the 946-metre structure will soon be load tested.
