Road building
This road renovation has been awaited for half a century: the Szilvásvárad-Nagyvisnyó route has been modernised.
The renovated road between Szilvásvárad and Nagyvisnyó was officially opened. The Magyar Közút Nzrt. carried out work from May to October on the nearly five-kilometre-long section, which was completed from the Hungarian Village Programme budget for 372 million forints – writes heol.hu.
As you may recall, the road to Szilvásvárad was renovated in connection with last year's World Driving Championships – our newspaper also reported on this reported, the HE-DO also renovated a 22-kilometre stretch on behalf of Magyar Közút Nzrt. and KM Építő Kft. as a subcontractor, from Felnémet to Szilvásvárad, at a cost of more than HUF 3 billion (including significant work on main road 25).
The recently completed Szilvásvárad-Nagyvisnyó road renovation can be considered a continuation of this work: the task was carried out between May and October this year. Work was carried out in two phases on the six-metre-wide road: first the outer section was dug up and resurfaced, followed by the inner section. Where necessary, they also worked on the foundation and repaired the drainage system.
From Eger to the end of Nagyvisnyó, the road is in good condition.
The outer section was asphalted in two layers, while the inner section was asphalted in one layer: a total of 5,650 tonnes of asphalt was used for this, and the road was also given durable road markings. This means that it is now possible to travel from Eger to the end of Nagyvisnyó on a good road.
Bálint Csőgér, Mayor of Nagyvisnyó expressed his gratitude for the government's support and László Horvát, Member of Parliament for his intervention in the road renovation, as well as the thorough work of the public road management company, which repaired the road section, last renovated 51 years ago, to a high standard, as he learned from Zoltán Szabó, county director of the public road management company.
– concludes his report, heol.hu.
