Zsolt Barabás, director of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. County said that nearly 5,000 tonnes of asphalt were used to repair the road surface during the investment. The work was carried out by employees living in the Kisbér engineering area.

The road is the only transport link to the region.

Judit Czunyiné Bertalan, State Secretary and Member of Parliament for the region, said at the site before the road was handed over that the significance of the investment made under the Hungarian Village Programme lies in the fact that Hánta, a village of 500 inhabitants belonging to Kisbér, and that this road is the only transport link to the region for the people living there.

He reminded us that

Recently, the region's main road network has been renovated for the first time, so that, with the exception of a few kilometres from Pápa, it is now possible to reach Kisbér and Oroszlány on good quality public roads. However, the settlement structure of Komárom-Esztergom County required that it be possible to reach the centres that provided the economic strength of the region from the smaller settlements as well.
