Training for employee well-being
The GINOP Plus 3.2.1 tender was launched with the aim of improving the adaptability and productivity of employees and companies, and a comprehensive training programme was launched under this tender by SZABADICS Construction Industry Zrt.
"We expect that these trainings will improve cohesion within the organisation, thus increasing employee motivation; and that the development of soft skills will also improve process transparency in the future."
- summarised the aim of the training courses Zsilvölgyi Katalin, HR Manager of SZABADICS Építőipari Zrt..
Emphasis on understanding each other
Within the framework of a strategic cooperation, Fürkész Holding Kft. supported the soft skill development of SZABADICS colleagues with its training. The topics of their presentations - situational leadership; burn-out; process improvement; stress management on a Disc basis - were aimed at strengthening corporate cohesion, effective cooperation between different personalities, and the recognition of employees' own limits and responsibilities.
"This year, we organised the training sessions with 101 participants, spread over 20 days" - Katalin Zsilvölgyi told us.
The GINOP Plus grant was designed to help deliver on-the-job training to increase productivity. To this end, the staff of SZABADICS Építőipari Zrt. were also able to participate in a hands-on training session on strengthening process improvement.
"The training courses we have launched have been defined according to our education plan and the results of the employee survey conducted in February 2024," added the HR manager. "Our colleagues have different tasks in different areas, but they are all united by a common goal: to find a common voice, a common language to optimise work processes.
With colleagues for colleagues
The requests from colleagues were in line with the management's vision, so the focus of the training courses completed this year was on developing soft skills, as good communication is not only the basis for effective cooperation, but also for good communication.
"This is supported not only by Disc-based training in stress management and assertive communication, but also by knowledge of situational leadership and burn-out"
- detailed Katalin Zsilvölgyi. The process improvement also aimed to improve cooperation between colleagues and departments, and the curriculum also provided practical knowledge for everyday use.
"Because of the large number of participants, the different job roles and the widely varying geographical locations," added the HR manager, "the organisation of the schedules was perhaps the biggest challenge for us, but the absolute support and flexibility of our colleagues was a great help."
The feedback was very positive, and the methodology of the training, the trainers' skills and personality all contributed to the fact that the vast majority of SZABADICS Építőipari Zrt. colleagues found the training useful and usable. As Katalin Zsilvölgyi pointed out:
"This is why we will be opening up the courses to a wider audience next year, in view of their great success."
