The country's largest amateur cycling team event finished with a record finish - SZABADICS continues to lead the way in supporting sport and community building

We talked about this year's tournament with Szabadics Roland, Operations Director of SZABADICS.

"This year's SZABADICS Ride Company Challenge was again a great success We received a lot of positive feedback from the teams of the start-up companies, and in the next few days we received many messages of praise from them, which we thank them for! Based on the above, we can say that we have surpassed last year's standards and enjoyed this flow experience for a while."

Record number of starters and new track record

"This year, a total of 76 teams competed in different categories to test their strength and endurance. In the men's professional field, the K3 TT Team put in a very strong performance, beating the previous course record with a time of 46 minutes 52 seconds, improving their own previous record by four seconds"

- informed.

He added that the race was not without its drama: the Kondenz TT Team would have been ahead of the K3 team in some stages of the qualifying, but a puncture meant they had to settle for second place. All this foreshadows the excitement of next year's race - almost certainly a big rematch between the challengers.

More than a competition - a community experience

For the organisers, the primary goal has always been to make the competition more than just about sporting performance. What makes the competition special is the fact that the members of the teams can achieve success by helping each other and working for each other. As the organisers put it, "The greatest joy for us is to see the participants not only competing, but also coming together as a community. Smiling, cheering each other on, reaching the goal together - that's the real value."

Although the route is not technically difficult - it can be done by everyone without major climbs - it is the challenge of time and pushing your own limits that makes the race really exciting

Event with family-friendly activities

The company has a clear aim to involve not only athletes but also their families in the world of cycling. This is why, this year too, special attention has been paid to ensuring that the accompanying family members, especially children, have a good time. The children's corner was a great success, with colourful, comfortable, shaded lounging areas, bean bags, games and interactive activities for the little ones.

"With an event like this, it's always a challenge how to address not only the athletes but also their families. But based on this year's experience, we feel we're moving in the right direction. We are planning further family-friendly improvements for next year to make the event even more of a community experience"

- said Szabadics Roland.

Other objectives include attracting as many visitors as possible to the event, in addition to competitors and family members.

Sport connects - a message for future participants

The organisers also sent a clear message to companies that have not yet participated in the competition:

"The SZABADICS Ride Company Challenge is not just about physical performance, it's an event that recharges you mentally - with experiences, laughter and shared goals. And that's why more and more people take part year after year. Make sure they try our race, because as they say, sport brings people together, and that's how we see it."
