The first business hotel in South Buda is built.

On 19 October, the new business hotel of the Radisson hotel group opened its doors at BudaParton, next to the Kopaszi Dam. The opening of this full-service hotel further strengthens the range of services available in South Buda. The four-star Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart also fits perfectly into the „15-minute city district” concept. The unique appearance of the building is the work of the KÖZTI architectural firm, while the construction was carried out by Market Építő Zrt. in just over two years.

In the course of the works, Market used for the first time the state-of-the-art prefabricated facade elements produced by its subsidiary PREbeton.

After a successful trial run, the Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart opened its doors as Hungary's first Radisson branded hotel in a ceremony. With nearly 200 rooms, the full-service hotel enters the Budapest hotel market with modern event and conference facilities, a sky bar and an Asian fusion restaurant, Shanghai Kitchen. The more than 11,000 square metre complex features 174 standard and 24 superior rooms.

Construction of the new urban quarter progresses

The construction of BudaPart is about halfway through the project. The construction and sale of the eighth residential building in the new district at Lágymányosi-öböl is already underway, while construction work is underway on three existing office buildings and the MOL Campus tower block, as well as on several office buildings. Together with the recently opened Central Park, the fifth largest public park in the capital has been created - larger than the Taban or the City Major area. In addition to the current nearly 40 service providers, 10 more shops are expected to open by early 2024.

"We are delighted to welcome Radisson to BudaPark, as the South Buda area has long been lacking a business hotel. It is also an important feedback for us that a new Radisson business hotel has found a home here" - emphasized Ákos Kiss, Managing Director of Property Market, the developer of BudaPart.

"The essence of a 15-minute city," he added, "is a full life - with work, services, recreation - within walking distance. A hotel like this fits perfectly into that concept. As a business hotel, they also benefit from this environment, where the 'city within the city' is present, allowing guests to enjoy both business services and the recreational opportunities of the city centre."

"The Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart combines the predictable practicality of a business hotel with the comfort of a wellness hotel, so we are confident that our business guests will return with their families. Our conference rooms and leisure facilities are designed to perfectly serve complex needs," said Carien Veldman, hotel manager.
