Zero energy properties with exceptional panoramic views built by VEMÉV-SZER Group

Since 2004, as one of the first members of the VEMÉV-SZER group of companies, it has been involved in the sale, rental and valuation of real estate. Veming Kft. Although their activities have mainly focused on newly built residential properties – flats, shops – and building plots, the Veszprém-based company has now taken on the complete construction of family homes.

"We are constantly monitoring the market and if we find a suitable property, we move. We have large-scale housing developments on the drawing board, and in December we will be able to hand over two of our detached houses."

Their office assists their clients with the assistance of lawyers, full land registry and credit services; VEMÉV-SZER's staff built two family houses next to the apartments and offices - for example in Óváros Square in Veszprém - for sales purposes.The zero-energy family house built on the site of two dilapidated houses by VEMÉV-SZER's own construction was launched in October 2023 and completed in a little over 14 months by mid-December.

Traditional character, comfortable home

"I found a promising-looking, good-sized plot of land with a dilapidated house with a beautiful castle view. It gave itself to us to build detached houses on this site, targeting premium clients," says Dániel Szücs of the beginnings.

The architectural concept of buildings on the site boundary was also quickly outlined. The four-bedroom properties of approximately 150 m2 were built with premium materials.

Special care had to be taken from the very beginning, because

"the annexe of the family house on the neighbouring plot - the manager explained in detail - is also located on the boundary of the plot, so the thermal insulation of the first building had to be installed when the main walls were raised, and the annexe also had to be insulated with a wall insulation and drainage of rainwater.

The 1011 m² houses, which have a separate garden area, will be powered by a 10 kW solar panel system, which will supply the mechanical systems and the overall energy needs of the buildings, built with Daikin air-to-water heat pumps, and will be almost self-sustaining - which is why the houses have been given the highest energy rating available.
