KFC to build the second half of the shopping centre in the north-eastern Hungarian city

Currently, more than 3,000 m² is available to shoppers at the Dryvit Profi Kft. and completed in autumn 2022, Várda Market Shopping Centre – reported the news on the construction company’s Facebook website a few days ago.

They added that 10,000 m2 of the nearly 28,000 m2 property will be developed in Phase 2 on behalf of the investor Várda Market Kft.. New stores will be ready to move into the shopping centre by autumn this year, they said.

Dryvit Profi is developing a commercial centre with three new retail outlets and KFC restaurant with roads, parking and external utilities.

How the construction is progressing

Attila Koroknai, the company's project manager said: the construction started with the foundation works of building KFC after the handover of the site in November 2024, and continued with the reinforced concrete structure works on site.

Under the reinforced substrate, the water and sewerage installations and the electrical cables of the building were installed, and the electrical ground cables of the buildings and the ground cables for the lighting of the entire area were laid.

The project is on schedule and will soon reach its spectacular stage as the precast reinforced concrete frame structure will be erected on site and the shopping centre and KFC building will be ready for use in 3 weeks
