A small town near Nyíregyháza gets a new centre
The Municipality of Tiszavasvár was looking for a contractor for the renewal of the town centre. The winning "KE-VÍZ" 21 Construction Zrt. will renovate the Meeting House, creating a new community café and gallery, while a public toilet facility will be built next to the central park, much needed in the town centre.
Modern community spaces are born
The cultural centre of this small town of 12,000 inhabitants is the House of Encounters, which will be renovated on a total area of 725 m2. This will include the creation of a new community café and gallery, while KE-VÍZ will also be responsible for plaster repairs and painting work in some rooms, the installation of air conditioning and the replacement of the ventilation system in the theatre.
The contractor is also responsible for replacing the cinema screen and motor, as well as fire protection for the stage curtains, replacing emergency exits with panic locks and installing a new, complete lighting system
as well as the renovation of the roof over the library, including re-roofing, tiling, plasterboarding and insulation. On the external terraces, new waterproofing is needed by removing the cladding and then covering them with new cladding, but the main entrance doors also need to be replaced.
More green spaces, squares and parks to be renewed
Green spaces, parks and squares can also be renovated in the 270 million HUF investment, with 561 m2 of the renewal of the Town Hall Square with new paved paths. Playgrounds and a rich flora will add life to the new green space in the city, which will be enhanced by new street furniture. The ornamental gardens on Kossuth Street, on the side of the high school, will be renewed up to the square in front of it, where new street furniture, a sunshade, new paving and planting will also refresh the square.
A public toilet will also be constructed between the Town Hall Square and the Meeting House, and the pavement and bus stop area will be paved in an area of 300 m2 opposite the Town Hall Square at the end of Ady Endre Street.
