Road building
The new Danube bridge is a spectacular sight at sunset and in the lights of the ornamental lighting - photos
Last Thursday, after three years of work, one of Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium's most significant investments was completed: the Tomori Pál Bridge, built by Duna Aszfalt Zrt., and the associated 512 road were handed over. The new transport corridor, which reduces the travel time between Kalocsa and Paks to just 15 minutes, is now open to motorists, but our photographers were able to capture the decorative lighting in a photo gallery before it was opened to traffic.
The 946.2 metre long, 10-supported structure is also significant because it provides extremely fast access to the M6 motorway from Kalocsa and the surrounding area.
