Road building
This road improvement will eliminate the constant dust pollution of the village along the M3
According to plans, the renovation of roads within the municipality of Ludas will be completed this year: the general contractor for the Heves County investment is HE-DO reported on the website.
In the development, which started in the summer of 2025, the first basic works were carried out on Kossuth Lajos and József Attila streets.
In recent years, these streets have fallen into a particularly bad state: the ditches have become muddy, the embankments have become overgrown and the roadbed has been destroyed. In addition, the renovated Kossuth Lajos Street will eliminate the constant dust pollution associated with crushed stone pavements, which has been a source of inconvenience for residents in the neighbourhood.
Aiming for early completion
The work involved first cleaning the muddy ditches, then removing the embankments and replacing the damaged road base. On Kossuth Lajos Street, a Ckt road base was laid, on which two layers of asphalt were laid. In József Attila Street, the existing asphalt pavement was levelled and wearing course was added. After the new pavements had been installed, the streets were again accessible to traffic across their full width.
The works are expected to be completed in December. The contractor HE-DO is also aiming to complete the renovation of Ady Endre Street ahead of schedule.
