An extended conference for real estate and construction industry players

This year, the Hungarian real estate market innovation and technology event will be held for the fifth time in Budapest on 16 May, according to a statement by the National Association of Construction Contractors (ÉVOSZ). This year, for the first time, the Proptech Innovation NOW Conference will break with tradition: for the first time, experts, innovators and interested parties from the fields of real estate, construction, BIM and contech will be invited to attend a full-day professional programme alongside proptech.

The event, which is planned for 300 people, will be a unique meeting point for prominent representatives of the profession, the press release says. It will be an opportunity to inspire, learn, share knowledge and shape trends in real estate technology for the present and the future.

The construction sector is lagging behind in digitalisation, but many players are working on it

One of the new features of the 2024 event is that the thematic focus will be extended: in addition to the current focus on proptech, special attention will be given to the construction industry, BIM and contech.

"The digitisation of the real estate market is no longer in the future, but in our everyday lives, in front of our eyes" - the announcement quoted Zoltán Kalmár, founder of Proptech Hungary, which has organised the event for the fifth year. "Although both construction and real estate are lagging behind other sectors, we see that many market players are working to digitise their own organisations, often under the radar. We want to highlight and showcase their work first and foremost to drive innovation in the Hungarian real estate sector."

Focus on a practical approach

The Communication stresses that Hungary has significant opportunities to catch up in the digital transformation. The Proptech Innovation NOW conference aims to showcase market players who are already actively involved in the digitisation of their organisations and share the keys to their success.

Within the framework of the conference, the organisers will focus on the challenges and solutions of four main segments - design, construction, rental and operation - covering the entire value chain of the real estate market. To ensure a practical approach, case studies, presentations, workshops and exhibitions will showcase the path from reality to implementation, good practices and lessons learned.
