Duna Group continues with a new CEO and a new structure

Duna Group has established an enlarged board of directors, headed by Beatrix Szabó Szabó, President and CEO, according to a statement issued by the Hungarian civil engineering market leader.

The report stresses that the infrastructure construction group aims to become a strong and stable regional medium-sized company and a dominant player in the Central European construction market. The new management structure, the strengthening of the board decision-making and the creation of the position of CEO all support the corporate strategy to further increase Duna Group's international presence, strengthen its role in the construction sector and achieve the status of a Hungarian-owned regional medium-sized company.

"Duna Group has developed a more modern, strategic decision-making model to adapt to the rapidly changing challenges of the construction industry, and as part of this, the position of CEO has been created. At the moment, building the future is our most important task, with a special focus on technological developments such as digitalisation in the construction industry, including the use of BIM systems," said Beatrix Szabó, who was head of BIM's BIM division before her appointment. The company's organisational changes have been notified to the relevant company law authorities.

The statement also says that the dynamically growing construction group, which has been in business for three and a half decades, is currently present in seven countries and is continuously exploring the possibility of entering additional markets. It was recalled that Duna Group made a strategic acquisition in Poland in the autumn as part of its international growth strategy, further strengthening its competitiveness and leadership in infrastructure development in the region.
