The first new waste yard of the MOHU in Esztergom is ready
The first new waste collection centre of MOHU Mol Hulladékgazdálkodási Zrt. was handed over in Esztergom, where residents can dispose of 40 types of waste free of charge, six days a week. Zsolt Pethő, CEO of MOHU, said on the spot:
The company will build 82 new waste yards across the country over the next 10 years.

According to a press release of MOHU, the company will set up a mobile or fixed waste yard in Hungarian settlements with a population of more than 5,000 people in the next 10 years, and a fixed waste yard in settlements with a population of more than 10,000 and in collection districts with a population of more than 25,000. It is planned to have 9 more yards by the end of 2025, of which 3-4 could be built this year.
The yard is one of the largest in its category in Esztergom. MOHU is planning new yards with a useful floor area of 2,000 square metres in most cases, but yards with a useful floor area of between 1,000 and 4,000 square metres can be built on certain sites.
