The Le Primore Hotel & SPA, which will open its doors as Hungary's largest premium spa hotel, is counting mainly on domestic tourists and guests from neighbouring countries in Hévíz from Thursday, said the hotel director at the press tour. Alfred Hackl said:

Conference centre and spa in one

Built on a 3.4-hectare site, the six-storey hotel features a unique architectural design,

  • restaurants offering top gastronomy,
  • penthouse suites on the top floor,
  • with a special rooftop pool,
  • but also a conference centre for 300 people.

The 11,000-square-metre spa pools are filled with thermal water from their own wells, and there is also a sauna world and special spa and therapeutic services, as well as a children's area for guests of all ages.

The hotel already employs 250 people. Around 200 people commute to work from Hévíz and the surrounding area, and another 50 are from the Philippines -

45 thousand cubic metres of industrial waste cleared from a protected wetland neighbourhood

The hotel manager also stressed that environmental protection and sustainability have been a priority during the investment and operation of the hotel.

The construction took place next to a protected wetland area, and the hotel site was previously used as an illegal landfill. In cooperation with the environmental and nature conservation authorities, 45,000 cubic metres of industrial waste was removed from the site during the reclamation.

The hotel will be run using renewable resources, using as little plastic as possible in its operations and aiming to recycle waste.
