Production can begin at one of Hungary's largest contract painting plants
Our newspaper followed the development of the Tatabánya site of Aalberts Surface Technologies Kft. throughout followed the development of Aalberts Surface Technologies Kft."s Tatabánya site. Thanks to the investment, the Dutch-backed company will become Hungary's largest contract painting plant, making it an indispensable player in the entire domestic automotive ecosystem. The general contractor for the facility was Weinberg '93 Építő Kft..
The company offers solutions in the field of high-quality functional coatings and surface treatments suitable for individual, special or series production for the automotive industry, railway vehicle manufacturing, agricultural machinery manufacturing, the food industry, the construction industry and even the military industry.
Unique technological equipment was installed
The 10,700 square metre building complex provides space for the planned production lines and a new logistics area. The hall building also houses specialised technological equipment and an assembly line for corrosion protection and the pre-assembly of car parts.
Success in the battle for competitiveness
At Tuesday's handover ceremony, Levente Magyar, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, explained that the fact that the Dutch-owned company chose Hungary for its new plant confirms that the steps taken in the fight for competitiveness are forward-looking in our country.
