A valley bridge over 4 kilometres long has been built in Slovakia by Strabag.

During the four years of construction, numerous unique technical solutions were implemented, with half a thousand people working on the project every day.

The total length of the bridges is 6,402 metres.

Between 450 and 500 workers and 30 tower cranes were working on site every day. In total, the bridges on this section are 6,402 metres long.

The Strabag entry emphasises that it was not only the terrain that posed a particular challenge, as a significant part of the work had to be carried out during the coronavirus pandemic. According to the motorway operator's analyses, the new section will carry around 7,000 passenger cars and 2,000 lorries per day from the affected settlements.
