Hungarian building construction company helps families with a unique idea

Our newspaper reported on an initiative launched in 2018 that has been operating successfully ever since. Weinberg 93 Kft.. The owners of the Sárospatak-based company have realised an idea that was one of a kind in Hungary.

The company runs a summer camp right next to its office in Sárospatak, which opened its doors for the eighth time on 26 June, at the start of this year's summer break. The camp, located in Malomkő Street, makes it easier to look after children during the summer period when kindergartens and schools are closed. Experience shows that the day-care centre is popular with parents and children alike, according to the company.

When organizing the day camp, Weinberg was mindful of practicality, so they chose a building right next to the office for the day camp. The building includes a playground, which was designed with the environmentally friendly approach of the company's steel structure manufacturing plant in mind.

The camp has 10 sessions in total during the summer: one session is 5 working days, from Monday to Friday. The camp is open until the end of August, covering the whole holiday. During the summer there are many children in groups of 10 to 15, with 15 children per week. There is no upper age limit for children from the age of three.

In addition to childcare, daily activities are available free of charge: mainly crafts, leisure and sports activities. The opening hours of the summer camp have been adapted to the working schedule and to individual needs, with the camp staff welcoming children from 7 am to 5 pm.
