The Ödön Lechner Awards for outstanding professional and social activities have been presented – GALLERY
On 10 December this year, the National Association of Building Contractors (ÉVOSZ) held its annual gala, a prominent event in the Hungarian construction industry. One of the highlights of the year-end event, held at the Pesti Vigadó of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, was the announcement of the projects awarded the Construction Industry Quality Award. As usual, we reported on this in a separate article.
Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the Ödön Lechner Awards, established in 1994.
This occasion is also special for our newspaper because the editor-in-chief of Magyar Építők, Gergely Hegedűs, also received the award.
The award, named after the world-famous master of Art Nouveau architecture, can be won on the basis of outstanding professional and social activities carried out over a longer period of time for the benefit of the sector. At the same time, the following took place at Wednesday's event
- Green Building of the Year Awards,
- the Architectural Creativity Awards,
- the Albert Dési Building Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnology Award,
- Marketing Communications Fees,
- the BME TDK Special Award,
- the Gyula Sándy Award, and
- the presentation of the Building Services Engineering Awards.
