What is being built?
Sports and events hall to be added to the Tata basin
The construction of a multifunctional hall has long been planned for Környe, a town of more than 4600 inhabitants, nestled between the Vértes and Gerecse mountains. According to the EU's public procurement notice, a contractor is already being sought to build the 300-seat reinforced concrete sports hall.
New community complex to be completed in a year and a half
The plans of the building were reviewed by the Tóbiás and Jel Architectural Office on behalf of the municipality and changes were made due to the amendment of the legislation. The complex can now be equipped with solar panels and energy storage.
The revised plans were given planning permission earlier this year, according to the municipality's website. The preparation of the public procurement procedure was then started. The contractor selected in the tender will have 18 months from taking over the site to build the multi-purpose hall in Környe, according to the notice published now.
The hall will host sports and other events
The multifunctional hall will have a useful floor area of 2,800 square metres and will be constructed of monolithic reinforced concrete, while the contractor will have to construct the partition walls in brick and plasterboard. The training area will be covered with sports flooring and noise absorption and wall protection up to a height of three metres.
Safety in the stands and in the air
The grandstand will also be of reinforced concrete construction, equipped with backrest chairs. The safety of the spectators will be guaranteed by a solid parapet, metal and tempered glass railings at the staircases.
The air conditioning system will be designed to filter out bacteria and be easy to clean and maintain.
The surroundings of the hall will also be improved
The contractor shall provide storm water drainage by installing grey water tanks or trench drainage. The area around the sports hall will be planted with trees. The project is worth more than HUF 700 million net.
