Felcsút mansion may be renovated

The bidding phase for the energy modernisation of the Felcsút mansion has begun, according to the Electronic Public Procurement System. The Felcsút local government is accepting bids until 23 December. The investment may be implemented within the framework of the TOP Plusz tender project as a conditional public procurement.

The Tamássy-Margalit Mansion is located in the centre of the village, set back from the main road, in a park. Today it houses the library and the doctor's surgery. The building, with a gross floor area of 382.71 m², will not be extended during the renovation.

Outside the building, a new ramp, pavement and paving stones will be installed, and the external wooden doors and windows will also be replaced. The façade and plinth will receive 16 centimetres of thermal insulation, while the internal ceiling will receive 25 centimetres of thermal insulation.

The property is also scheduled for mechanical and energy upgrades, including the installation of a new heating system, new mechanical cooling, and the addition of accessible toilets.
