The Hungarian Football Association's training centre in Telki and Páty may be expanded with a two-storey warehouse and service facility. The construction will take place on the Páty site, which is also used by the Hungarian national football team for training. The winning company was selected through a public procurement process to build a sports equipment warehouse, laundry and printing facility.

Construction of a new warehouse and service hall can begin on the grounds of the Hungarian Football Association's training centre in Telki, which belongs to Páty. The training centre will be built on two adjacent plots, one belonging to Telki and the other to Páty. The aim of the investment is to create a sports equipment warehouse, laundry and printing facility in a shared hall building, which will support the operation and logistics of the facility. The Szolnok-based company Károlyház Kft. has been commissioned to carry out the construction work.

Two-storey hall with multiple functions

According to the announcement published in the EU public procurement notice, the planned building will be constructed with a prefabricated reinforced concrete supporting structure, a lightweight roof structure and facade cladding. The hall will have a height of 8.8 metres and a total gross floor area of 2,045.77 square metres. Of this, the gross floor area of the ground floor will be 1,335.70 square metres, while that of the upper floor will be 710.07 square metres. The total net floor area will be 1,904.35 square metres.

The warehouse is served by a goods lift.

The hall will be connected to indoor and outdoor handling areas, and car and lorry parking spaces will also be created on the site. Storage functions will be supported by a 1,000 kg capacity goods lift, and 576 square metres of synthetic resin-coated industrial flooring will be installed in the building.

Energy-efficient operation based on renewable energy

The investment includes the construction of the entire public utility infrastructure: new water and sewage connections will be established, the rainwater drainage network will be expanded, and new electricity lines will be built from the Cseresznyés dűlő public transformer station. The plans also include the installation of new fire water tanks for fire protection purposes. Energy efficiency is a key consideration in the design of the hall building: the building will be constructed with excellent thermal insulation and thermal bridge-free structures, without the use of fossil fuels, and with heat supply utilising renewable energy sources.
