As part of the Soltút Kft. project, a new bypass and several related transport infrastructure facilities are being built in Baja. The aim of the project is to improve the safety and capacity of urban transport.
In total, around 1.7 kilometres of new paths or upgrades to existing cycle paths may be built. A conditional public procurement procedure is being used to seek bidders.
With the publication of the call for tenders, the implementation of the Baja Southern Bypass is one step closer. The winning contractor will be responsible for the construction of the new main road, roundabouts and related facilities.
The facility was built at a cost of around one billion forints.
