The aim of the project, launched with the support of the TOP Plusz programme, is to create a competitive industrial environment with full public utilities. The work is expected to be completed by spring 2026, with HE-DO as the contractor.

On the outskirts of Bugyi, on Sári Road, the development of a new industrial area has begun. The investment, which began in October 2025, is being carried out under contract HE-DO and with the support of programme TOP Plusz, commissioned by the Bugyi Local Council, and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2026 , according to the basic information provided by the road and civil engineering company.

As stated, the development is located opposite the sewage treatment plant and affects municipal-owned properties with cadastral numbers 061/1, 061/20 and 061/21 in an industrial area. The project will provide the future industrial park with a complete infrastructure, ready to welcome new businesses.

The internal road network, drinking water and sewage pipes, 0.4 kV electrical network, telecommunications infrastructure and public lighting will be constructed. In addition to the internal road, the public lighting network will also be constructed along a 250-metre section of road 5202.

First they started with the measurements, then came the implementation.

The works commenced on 20 October 2025 with the implementation of HE-DO. First, geodetic surveys and topsoil removal took place, and currently the sewage system is being constructed. This will be followed by the laying of drinking water pipes, road construction, and then the installation of electrical and telecommunications networks and public lighting.

They emphasise that the investment is vital for Bugyi's future, as the industrial park will enable the municipality to offer a competitive environment for businesses, which can contribute to the village's economic growth by employing local labour.

The project is scheduled for completion and handover on 14 April 2026.
