In Csongrád, roads and squares are being renovated with the help of the Magyar Közút.

An important infrastructure development project is getting underway in Csongrád: the city council has been awarded a non-repayable grant of HUF 495 million under the Regional and Local Development Operational Programme Plus. The investment aims to renovate the main transport routes in the central part of the city – writes the local cs3.hu, citing information from the city administration.

Once the project series, which started in the town of the same name in Csongrád-Csanád County, is completed, it will be easier to access the post office, the doctor's surgery, the primary school, the library, the community centre and the district court.

As they write, a total of 1.144 km of road will be modernised during the renovations.

  • the city's car parks: not only will the parking areas be renovated, but new parking spaces will also be created.

In addition, they also list Hunyadi Square, Dózsa György Square and Erkel Ferenc Street.

The beneficiary of the project is the Municipality of Csongrád, and the consortium partner is Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium. The implementation will be carried out by Magyar Közút Nzrt..
