Road building
A 4.5-kilometre cycle path will link Pécs’s southern suburbs to the city centre
There is a huge demand for a cycle path in the southern suburbs of Pécs, between Kertváros and the city centre. Recognising this, the city council has launched a public procurement process to design the route. Its development will be a key part of the city’s cycle network, as it will not only provide a direct and safe link between the city centre and Kertváros, but will also make the Tüskésréti Leisure Centre accessible from the city centre.
For around 20 million forints and over a period of 10 months, you can design the new transport infrastructure for Pécs city centre, which will serve as an extension of the previously completed north-south axis. The company will carry out general design tasks, which will involve preparing planning permission and construction drawings, as well as providing design supervision during construction.
Green space developments
The experts at PRO-CONSILIUM are responsible for carrying out the professional preparation for the clearance of the green spaces affected by the 4.5-kilometre cycle path, obtaining the necessary permits, and planning the professional and high-quality replacement of the green spaces to be cleared.
Accordingly, it is the successful tenderer’s task and responsibility to obtain tree-felling permits, expert opinions from the city’s chief horticulturist and landowners’ consent, as well as to plan measures aimed at protecting and replacing the existing/remaining vegetation.
