We do need a pump after all! – How does the BIM pay for itself in industrial investments?
„The plans have changed, but we still need a pump! However, there are already electrical cabinets in the right place…” – this is just one of the opening remarks with which the organising architectural practice, BuildEXT, is welcoming those interested to its professional meet-up in Budapest on 10 November.
The central theme of the event organised under the Országos Magyar Épületgépész Napok (OMÉN 2026) programme will be the sectoral coordination of industrial investments within the BIM-based project environment.
„How does information reach the relevant disciplines? How long does it take to reach a technically sound decision? Where can such problems be identified before implementation?” – through real-life project scenarios such as these, the meetup demonstrates how discipline coordination based on BIM works in practice.
An interactive round-table discussion and live tech demonstrations await participants
The meet-up, in line with the above, will present the perspectives of investors, designers and professionals alike

- and a live tech demo will help industry professionals gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
The technical programme will feature presentations by Csaba Livják, founder and managing director of BuildEXT, and András Manherz, head of the building services engineering division at BuildEXT. The event is primarily recommended for investors, factory managers, project and technical managers, building services and other specialist engineers, designers and contractors.
