Cordia strengthens its position with another investment in Romania – Centropolitan under construction
Hungary's leading residential developer, the Romanian subsidiary of Futureal-csoport, Cordia, a Romanian subsidiary of Futureal-csoport, has purchased an 8,179 square metre plot of land in Bucharest, directly adjacent to the Bucharest Mall, one of the city's busiest shopping centres, the company said in a press release.
The Centropolitan project is being implemented in the area, comprising 274 flats and 3,345 square metres of commercial space. The investment now has a valid building permit and work has already begun.
Community spaces are created for the convenience of residents
The project offers a range of apartments from one-room properties to five-room homes, with floor areas ranging from 42 to 156 square metres, and all apartments feature spacious terraces. During development, special attention will be paid to community features that serve the comfort of residents:
Approximately 350 square metres of space has been dedicated to a cosy residents' lounge, a gastro bar suitable for social gatherings, a children's corner, a games room for teenagers, a coworking centre, and fitness and yoga areas. All of this supports a balanced, modern urban lifestyle.
Everything is within 10 minutes' reach
In addition, thanks to its wide range of services, Centropolitan follows the so-called 10-minute city concept.
The functions necessary for everyday life – housing, services, leisure – will be available within a short period of time or even as services within the development area.
Bucharest Mall is just a minute's walk away, and the area is well served by public transport.
Centropolitan is not the first investment of Cordia and Futureal-csoport in Romania; most recently, the 485-unit Parcului20 residential building was completed in Bucharest in two phases.
