Weger is launching a major construction project in Jászárokszállás
Weger Hungária Kft., a company specialising in ventilation equipment, is building a new factory in Jászárokszállás at a cost of around 9.5 billion forints. The news was announced in Budapest by Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Heat pumps and air-handling systems will be manufactured using state-of-the-art technology at the new 10,000-square-metre factory. These systems play a key role in large-scale industrial construction projects, among other things, as was revealed at Wednesday’s press conference.
They have specialised in the manufacture of top-quality air handling units
Through this investment, the Weger Group aims to further improve quality and the company’s international competitiveness through digitalised production. Between 80 and 90 per cent of the products manufactured here will be sold on foreign markets, primarily in Western Europe. The minister also noted that the government is providing 1.1 billion forints in funding for the investment, thereby securing 250 jobs.
According to its website, this Italian-owned air-conditioning company was founded in 1977 by Walter Weger in Italy, in the German-speaking region of South Tyrol. For over 30 years, since 1992, the company has specialised in the manufacture of bespoke, top-quality air handling units. Today, it has production facilities in Italy, Germany, Hungary and Brazil, where the highest standards are met in terms of manufacturing and quality assurance. They focus not only on efficiency, but also on the use of first-class materials and advanced technologies.
