Published

During the works, trains will run on the Esztergom, Vác and Veresegyháza lines with modified timetables until the beginning of July.

On 21 June 2023, the renovation of the railway crossing at Teleki Blanka Street in Rákosrendező will begin, lasting more than two weeks. In two phases, several restrictions will be introduced on the Esztergom, Szomi and Veresegyháza lines, according to a MÁV Zrt.

The former crossing will be demolished and replaced by a new rubber-layered (STRAIL) pavement system for a more comfortable and safer crossing. In parallel with the works, the station will also replace the necessary rails and carry out maintenance on the switches, the safety equipment and the overhead line system.

The crossing will be closed during the works

A section of Teleki Blanka Street will also be renewed, with the removal of the cube stone on almost 2,000 square metres of the surface managed by the railway company and the construction of an asphalt road for cyclists and motorists. The rebuilding, which is being carried out by MÁV on its own investment, is expected to last until the end of July.

The road-railway crossing at the junction of Szegedi út and Teleki Blanka utca will be closed for the full width during the works. By car, you can take the Róbert Károly körút. The station and platforms are accessible on foot.

During the works, trains will run on the Esztergom, Vác and Veresegyháza lines with a modified timetable until the beginning of July. Details of the modified timetable of the affected services are available on the Mávinform website.
