Dévaványa received approximately 500 million forints in funding for the development.

Half a billion forints in EU and domestic funding will be used to develop the rainwater drainage system in Dévaványa, according to an announcement made by the local government of the town in Békés County on 6 January. This is not the first time that news has emerged from Dévaványa about infrastructure developments related to sewerage in recent years: In the autumn of 2022, we already wrote about the modernisation of the city's wastewater treatment plant: the works involved the renovation of the facility's buildings, technological modernisation, the construction of a new sewage pressure pipe and the renovation of the sewer network. The tasks were completed about a year after the original news item appeared.
