Four million parts per day – Rosenberger further expands its capacity
The government has concluded its 102nd strategic cooperation agreement with the German company Rosenberger, further strengthening the stable and secure foundation of the domestic economy in the European economic environment, announced Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, on Monday in Jászárokszállás.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the minister reported at the handover of the new Rosenberger investment that
The German-owned company, which manufactures electronic components, is expanding its capacity at its sites in Nyírbátor, Jászárokszállás and Jászberény at a cost of 9.5 billion forints.
The state is providing 1.5 billion forints in support for this, thereby securing numerous jobs and promoting the further strengthening of export performance.
Previously Rosenberger Hungary's 8,000 square metre plant in Nyírbátor and its site in Jászárokszállás were converted by Merkbau Zrt. .
The majority of Hungarian production is intended for export.
He emphasised that the company, which employs around 5,000 people in Hungary, represents cutting-edge technology and is a global market leader, has established very close cooperation with Hungarian higher education and vocational training institutions, which helps students acquire internationally competitive knowledge.
He said that the Hungarian economy benefits greatly from the fact that almost all of the approximately four million parts produced by the company every day are sold on foreign markets, because export revenue is of paramount importance.
In his speech, he emphasised that he had also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the company, which is now the government's 102nd partner with similar status.
Péter Szijjártó then pointed out that the group has made numerous investments during its more than two decades of operation in Hungary, now for the sixth time with the support of the government, and that they maintain jobs with increasingly high added value here.
